My name is Craig Ernstzen. I am a born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now why I started this blog is because as a Christian I am always confronted by the question, how do I know that my religion is the true religion and not Islam,Buddism,Hinduism, Catholicism, Jehovah's witnesse, Mormonism,Reincarnation and I'm sure you can think of some more amidst the many religions in the world today. Then we come to those who say they are not religious at all but spiritual, the likes of Depac Chopra and Oprah Winfrey who believe in mysticism and eastern philosophy as their guide in life. Also many of my Christian friends always ask me about the various religions.

People seem to have formed an opinion that religion is based on which family one is born into and that we all have to respect everyone's religions.If you don't in this day and age you could tagged with any one of these labels (Intollerant, arrogant, hateful, insensitive, peace breakers).

Now my question to you dear reader is, what is the point of going to a synagogue, shrine,temple or mosque if what we believe in is not true. That said, every religion cannot be true. Islam believes that you can murder in the name of God and will awake on the other side with 7 virgins, re-incarnation says that you will come back in another life form depending on how you lived your life so you could come back as a snail if you lived your life badly. If you study all of these religions and isms they all have some form of morality and accountability in them. They all contain works based righteousness which are a means to a particular end depending on your religion. Christianity is the only religion which mentions a redeemer, a Saviour. It also talks about a sovereign creator God who hates sin(transgression of His law). It speaks of heaven and hell and that our eternal destination depends on a man who was the Son of God, also known as Jesus Christ, a man born under the law who perfectly fulfilled the law of God in not sinning or transgressing it in one point. He was therefore qualified to pay sins penalty on a Roman cross more than 2000 years ago for the sins of the world. More than this He rose again on the third day to defeat man's greatest fear, death itself. The history of the universe which was created by Jesus Christ is documented in a book known as the Holy Bible (Set Apart Book). God says in the bible that whosoever repents and forsakes their sins and believes in HIM(Jesus (God the Son) will inherit the kingdom of heaven.

So back to my point, there are clear distinctions in the various religions and either one of them are correct or all of them are completely fruitless practices. Of course there are those who say they don't get involved in religion but how many of them do you find who when the trials hit them in their lives, find themselves either in a church building, watching video's of self help gurus(men just like them) or many resort to drugs, alcohol abuse and some sadly take their own lives. I won't get into that though, I started this blog specifically for those who are engaged in, a religion.

Like I intimated, I believe that there are only two kinds of religions and not many religion. I believe in a true religion and a false religion. I personally choose to believe the bible which has proved itself to be the inerrant, inspired,consistent,truthful word of the one true God. Why do I believe it? You may say, like many skeptics, oh but the bible has been changed many times. Really?

Can you think of people who were killed and are still killed today for publishing their holy book except for those who publish/ed the bible?

Also do you realize how the history recorded in school books and other books in the liabrary were recorded throughout the centuries? Out of all these books the bible has the most available manuscripts and also the time between writing and publishing is far less than those of some of the most well known writings in history.

I will finish this lengthy opening post by asking, which religion do you believe in?
There are only 2 kinds, the right kind of religion and the wrong one. Would your religion hold up factually in a court of law?

How about the the court of God who calls Himself the just judge who will judge the world in righteousness?

Are you fully assured of the consequences of your actions and where it will all end up. It doesn't matter if you were born muslem or catholic or buddist, what matters is what is the truth?
